About the Program
The Digital Design and Fabrication Certificate is a collection of specialized courses designed to give students credentials and applied expertise in design ideation to enhance their marketability in their chosen field. They will learn digital fabrication processes and product realization to enhance their creative careers in the rapidly expanding field of digital three-dimensional design modeling for additive and subtractive manufacturing processes. This 12-credit certificate will give students a solid understanding of 3D modeling and fabrication, and culminates in a capstone course where the student will undertake and present a special project tailored to their interests in their field and digital fabrication.
